What is a Vacation Housekeeping Rental?
A vacation rental is any suite-type lodging that has self-catering facilities (stove, oven, sink, refrigerator, microwave, etc.) Most of our vacation rentals have separate bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens, one or more bathrooms, washer and dryer in the log homes, and a balcony or patio on some. Towels and linens are provided. Daily maid service is not available - you are responsible for your own housekeeping. Unlike hotels with per person pricing, there is a set price for an entire vacation rental with a minimum number of persons allowed and a per person fee for additional guests. Most one-bedroom units sleep a maximum of four using a sleeper/sofa in the living room. Most two-bedroom vacation rentals sleep a maximum of six, and most three-bedroom vacation rentals sleep up to eight. The 4 BR and larger houses vary from 10 to 16 capacity. The largest cabin has 9 beds to sleep 16 people comfortably. Please click on the cabin or house descriptions as well as the rates button and carefully read the vacation rental descriptions to learn the specifics of what is provided and how many people are allowed. pets by permission ONLY $10/day fee, NO smoking inside cabins.
