The Resort

Located in Lake City, Colorado, The Texan Resort is a vintage log cabin village situated on the Lake Fork of the Gunnison River. For 60 years, travelers have come to this resort to enjoy the peace and tranquility of this mountain region. See photo tour.

While still rustic in nature, each cabin boasts the “modern amenities” of hot and cold running water, showers or baths and indoor plumbing, a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, toaster and coffeemaker and cable TV. High speed DSL wireless internet service is available near the office at no charge. Cabins range in size from one bedroom all the way to the Secundo Lodge, a log home that sleeps 16 adults.
