High Country Log Home #34 on the river (under construction) -  Douglas Fir and Ponderosa Pine traditional handcrafted 24" diameter logs of a skip-peel, chinked style hearkening from the late 1800's, tapered axe end cut. Dead standing Douglas Fir logs from the local San Juan Mountain range near Crested Butte/Kebler Pass. Rafters, ceiling, purlins and stairs constructed in a post and beam configuration. 4 queen beds (2 BR downstairs, 2 beds in loft) - sleeps 8 plus sofa, 2 full baths, kitchen, den, dining, and large front porch.
